Is it OK that there are fallen leaves from the tree in the coop? I know the sap is non toxic and I also would like to know if feeding them live sissoo tree leaves is ok as well

Never heard of sissoo tree so can't speak to that. Will say this. In my chickens' run are dozens of lilies, which as far as I know are toxic to chickens. They shelter under them, scratch for bugs under and around them, and fertilize them with their droppings, but do not eat them. Chickens and lilies live together in joyful symbiosis. My guess is, if the leaves of your tree are toxic, your birds will scratch around them but won't eat them, provided they have enough good food to eat. Good luck!
