I just love this site. Boy does one have to be careful what they type .

Anyhow, I guess thanks for the information and the disagreement. Perhaps others will benefit from it. That is mostly what these threads are for any way.

When my little one gets to be about 5 weeks, I will post a pic of it and you EXPERTS can tell me the class and such.

Here is hoping it is a least a hen.

For now, we have given up on getting eggs. Money for a new incubator keeps getting used up someplace else.
I have already decided on a "lyon" as first choice and a brinsea for second choice. Seems the brinsea 20 eco have stopped their price break now.

Serama discussions are banned on alot of message boards, they cause so much discussion. I just love to check out the serama sellers on ebay. Yes, some are truthful but most are just a big joke and trying to make a buck, do your research before you click on that bid button! BTW, a serama is not full grown at 7 months. They may appear so, but can really chunk up up to a year and a half. If a 7 month old is a type B, he or she may end up a C or larger. You can get an Idea of type at 5 weeks- tail, wing carriage and length of back are evident at this age.

One thing I noticed...

Once they raise their batch for past 1 month, they will start laying again already. Pretty neat! : )
