a bale of straw and OMG!

Shouldn't be too hard to raise 'em up even though it's late in the season.  Try this:

x2 on the Easter Eggers....shoot, I'm surprised any feed stores have chicks this time of year.

our winters are mild, freezing at night 50s in the day time. I have fix the footings of the new coop and then I will be able to move the original flock to it and when they are older I will put them into the "old coop" and run area which is going to be the brooder/hospital/meat bird area. That coop is 4 x4x4 so just the right amount of room to help keep them warm at night and I have power to it for the heat lamp too if needed. The run is 20x12 and under cover so no rain in it!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had them. Going to check again on black Friday to see if they still have any left. I'm thinking of getting more or the rest of them as a surprise present for my wife. Omg I'm turning into a chick hoarder!

Welcome to the obsession, you are not alone!!
