Welcome aboard and howdy from Ridgeway, SC. I to am from Ohio though (Southwestern Ohio) but arrived here after a 22 year journey woth the US Air Force. I retired from Shaw AFB, SC and continue to work for the company there We live on 9.25 acres of trees in our log house and so we built our chickens a log coop too. We have 2 EEs, 2 RRs, 2 BOs, and 2 BRs. Thought we had all hens till 1 BO and 1 RR started crowing this week. Shucks! My plan is to build a smaller bachelor pad (made of logs of course) and let them boys range in the daytime, but roost if the secure pad at night. The girls have a nice big run and will not range outside of that. I know, TMI. Sorry. Again welcome!
