Hi everybody!
Thank you for an excellent place to hang out during the rainy, muddy days of Spring here in Texas.
I've kept meat chickens and layers in Central Florida, but just salvaged my first coop here. It's ready for the wire to go on the run, and I am picking up my new chicks at two feed stores tomorrow. I'm so excited!!
I'm a Mother to 5 children, and 4 grandchildren. I'm a bit of a Mother hen myself, as I'm a full-time caretaker for my disabled husband. We are hoping to become a bit more self-sufficient by having hens, a garden, and next year rabbits.
I do have a couple of questions, but will ask then somewhere else in the forums.
Best Regards,
Beth
