Hello, and thanks for the welcome.
On Sunday I went to Western Feed & Supply and bought two Black Australorp Pullets and tow Golden Laced Wyandottes.
They are all happy peeping away and scratching the pine shavings in the temporary brooder I built for them.
On Thursday the store will have a shipment of Ameraucanas, and I will pick up two of those to make the flock six.
 
Hi Im new here too nice meeting you all through the posts but am having a hard time figuring out how to post I only seem to be able to reply to existing posts. Can some one direct me please as Im lost and have added my question about my Brahmas under an existing post in the hope I get a reply Lovely to read all the info that's here. Thank you for adding me to the group :)

Update: bought (6) chicks;

(2) Golden Laced Wyandottes born 4/14/15 Mary & Violet

(2) Black Australord Pullets born 4/22/15 Cora & Edith

(2) Ameraucanas born 4/29/15 Daisy & Sybil

(Sybil died 5/08/15) These chicks were really tiny and was so sad to see Sybil
kind of mopish on Friday night. Saturday morning see was gone.
Daisy is doing well, and the others are getting the wing feathers.
