A bird haunting...not for faint of heart..

I opened a window to let him in and all he did was sit on the ledge and stare at me. I was afraid to turn my back on him, what if he is a vampire chickadee?

I don't think he's a vampire or he wouldn't be eatting the seed you put out. My guess is he was hand raised by someone and maybe you look like that person. Is this for real? Or you really afraid of this little bird?

We are not afraid of him, but he is spooky. he seems to be equally attracted to my wife and I.

We joke about him all the time, Actually if he leaves us we will miss him now. We have coffee with him every morning.

You think I am brave enough to go outside with "him" out there?

WOW two Mae Rose breasted Grosbeaks at once now!

And a bunch of cowbirds, I am going to have to send to Cowbird Heaven, or Long Prairie.
Well, you HAVE to go out to get your diamond encrusted creamette eggs unless you're just too "chicken".

The Game Warden would say, "Just leave him alone. He'll move on." --Standard Game warden response.

In the meantime do you think you and the wife need pepper spray handy or some special vaccine? Rabies shots?

He is a pretty special tweety. Have you given him a name...?
