A Black Snake ATE my Lola!!!!

here is the Captain and Rory - you can see that they are past the duckling stage... sorry for the first 2 being blurry - it was time for peas!!!!

OMGoodness!! Lola was that big? I wouldn't think a snake could get a duck that big!

Not to be graphic, but did you catch the snake..... "red handed"?

Thanks for the info. I was just curious. Poor Lola! Now I'm thinking of ways to "snake proof" my ducky house. Probably a nearly impossible task.

My husband went out yesterday (own his one, he misses Lola) and went you our local feed/farm store and bought some sulfur... 100% sulfur and put it around the entire coop, he has been told that snakes hate the smell of it and want come close.. We are trying it.. Old timers believe in it. They say to spread it on the ground 3-4 times (over weeks) so it is in absorbed in the ground and stays

We will see??!?
