Has anyone hatched with these. A fellow is offering one but I'm a little skitish since it was his deceased relative's ---- the thing has been setting up for 7 years and I can find no parts for it anywhere.

The worst part is that there are no turners, but it will hold about 200 eggs in total .....It's like a medical incubator - stainless insides.

Should I bite on this or not......Please advise (oh it's $150 and includes a stand).

Reported to be working - a 2hour drive from us so I need to think gasoline and time.

I really would love to hear what you think. Thanks!

isnt carbon dioxide poisonus? if its a medical one that might mean one for lab culters right?? not for eggs.
If I coudnt find anything aobut it or parts and was worried I certainly wouldnt put 200 eggs in the thing..
Hopefully someone else will know more then me cuase I am just a newb.
Good luck

First, find out what the manufacturer name is.
Second, what do you mean by Carbon Dioxide incubator ?
Was this used in a laboratory setting with a CO2 gas tank
hooked up to it for incubation of certain types of bacteria ?

Does it have a turner for eggs ? I would say if it does NOT
have a turner to just forget about it.

The temperature and humidity should be able to be controlled,
does this have such a thing ?

Lastly, if there is a CO2 hookup, then the unit will have to have
a fan retrofitted to get fresh air into the bator.

Here's what I was told:
Hotpak Carbon dioxide incubator2. Model- 3518163- Serial no.- 555334.Made by Hotpack Corporation. Philadelphia Pa. 19135

Without the turners - which it is, I'm going to pass. Don't have time to turn and retrofit. I bet it was used to incubate reptile eggs at his father in laws pet store, since I'm finding some of these scientific ones used for that....

Thanks for your help. The price was great, but the functionality just not there! Have a blessed day.
