A cat looked after ducklings rather than killing them

I was surprised by this story. An Irish couple hatched duck eggs on their farm. Their cat went missing - they thought the cat would kill the ducklings. But they discovered the Della, who had just given birth to her own kittens just hours beforehand, had taken in the ducklings and was treating them as her own!

Oh that is ADORABLE! Thank you for sharing the video. I have not experienced anything like this first hand, but I have seen other videos of cats mothering another species like squirrels.
