In fact, I added a small teddy bear to my brooder that the chicks enjoyed pecking at - it gave them a distraction.

Blaze is very cute... and cute name

I have a lot of teddy bears but, they are to big to fit in the bin with enough space for the chicks, feeder, waterer, and heat lamp

Yeah that is a bit of a problem... it would need to be small, and out of the way of the heat lamp (or at least not too close so it couldn’t burn).

I think anything safe for them to peck at would be good. Even drawing coloured dots on the inside of the brooder walls maybe.
