A chicken sitting in her nest for extended hours, not sure if I should be concerned

“Lady” likes to sit in her nesting box for long periods of time without any eggs under her. She seems to be okay but not sure if I should be concerned about anything. The rest of the chickens all like to wander throughout the day and rarely go into the nesting boxes. These are my first Chickens, so I’m really not sure if this is normal behavior. She’s about eight months old and is laying eggs.

What does she do when you reach under her while she's in there?

Maybe she's thinking of going broody?

I’ve never done that. But I did find an egg after she was sitting there for a few hours. So hopefully she just likes to take her time laying.
