Still chuckling to myself - Our 9 week old Cockerel crowed for the first time this morning. He stood there looking astonished as if to say"what was that noise" and all the hens including the big ones stood about preening themselves and looking around expectently for the "Man"

Early bird! Mine usually start crowing when they are a few weeks older than your boy. It must've been quite funny to hear LOL
