A coop for Tumbles flock...question

I keep reading about how people put vinyl flooring for the floor of their coops, I have a question;

Would it be possible to use the vinyl sheets like people use for walls in wet area? I believe they are sold in 4ish X 8ish sections (like plywood size) and are not very expensive. Could this be used for the floor & the walls? If so clean up would be a snap & washing everything down would be easier. To do this we would just need to caulk around windows (we would do that anyhow..) and in the corners, ect. This would pretty much make it water proof ( and poop proof!!)

I was wondering if the entire inside is made of vinyl if the coop would still be able to "breathe". I plan to have a couple windows, vents & I'm sure there will be adequate ventilation.
The out side will be wood, insulation, then vinyl on the inside for walls & flooring.

Thoughts?

I think those are made from rigid fiberglass, would work on walls but might be too brittle to put on floor unless the underlayment was absolutely smooth or they might crack when walked on.

Obviously would need lots of ventilation if using impermeable wall covering.

Not sure why you need insulation, where are you located?

We're in Indiana. Some winters aren't so bad, others aren't so good.
Its very windy & I get huge snow drifts around my house, so I figured we'd insulate the coop a bit.

I'd read up on insulation and ventilation (linked in my last post).

Insulation is actually more beneficial in hot climates to keep the coop from heating up too fast in the sun when not using an open air coop.

Ventilation is key in cold climates in the winter, birds can take cold weather (they have down coats on), ventilation is much more important than insulation in winter as frostbite is caused by humid air and frigid temps.

Read up on it and make your decision.
