He's not really a baby chick anymore (about 9 weeks old now) and my daughter won't admit that he is a he...she still calls him "her Mimi." They've been attached since day one when this little guy would peep and peep and peep unless he was snuggling up on her! Just had to show off my cute chicks!

Really cute pictures, but I would like to give you a bit of advice.

DO NOT allow your daughter to let the rooster get too close to her eyes. The bird will not mean to harm her, however chickens have been known to cause sever corneal damage by pecking at eyes. Chickens will peck at anything that is shiny. There are several threads regarding this subject.
