A couple of my duck eggs have hatched

Can I take my 2 ducklings out of the incubator and put it under the heat lamp Evan tho not all of them have hatched yet please help I'm a beginner

From what I understand, the danger to pipped but not yet hatched eggs is a drop in humidity. Most people say it's fine to open the incubator for just a second to remove chicks/ducklings that are fully fluffed up. Do this as little as possible. (Once a day). Some people use steam to increase ambient humidity around the incubator before they open the lid. Others don't bother to do this and don't have problems.

I haven't hatched with an incubator before either, but I have chicken eggs on day 5 right now, and I've been reading up on it!

Another one has just hatched out in front of me can I still open it to take the other 2 out and leave the one that's just hatched in there

Yes, I have done it before with no problems. I was quick about it and they were fine drying off in the brooder. The choice is yours though. I never put my incubator in the bathroom after it was all steamed up either but some do. Good Luck.

Not totally sure about ducklings, but chicks can go up to 3 days after hatch without food or water. So I think they're easily fine for 24 hours. The reason to keep them in there is to avoid opening the incubator more than necessary, and to keep them nice and warm while they dry out. Up to you. I think they're fine either way.

Ok thank you I'll probably leave them in there until tomorrow to be on the same side so there all 100% dry before opening and moving them
