this is the " vintage " style couch a friend gave me - was wondering if anyone knows how old this style is? please over look the color I am going to have it redone to match the light country blue I have been painting the livingroom

and here is what my girls have done this week

what good girls ! after the pic was taken one of my EE's laid her first it is an olive green, also I got one that is alittle more on the pink side from one of my LB's

I am not sure if I am going to recover it myself - I am going to see how much it will cost to have the pros do it - I dont want to mess up the tufting - but if it will cost to much than I will learn how to do it myself real fast !!

the color is kinda growing on me -- i have a very country feel to my house and that couch just fit right in. i might leave the color

To me your sofa looks like "Queen Anne" style...very cool. I could see it in a dark red...brothel style...lol. That's the way I'd cover anyway.

I think it'd be work to either have a professional cover it or leave it as and bring it to the antiques roadshow...who knows you might be able to pay off your house with it. I saw this drabby side table go for over 400k once on that show, I think the lady only paid $20 for it a yard sale, so you never know what you have.
