TSC Assorted bantam ID

I think he was about 5 weeks old at the time. I cannot really tell with yours, try taking individual pictures of each bird without the red lamp. Even then they look a bit young to accurately sex, 4 weeks you can start guessing but in 6+ weeks it’s more a sure thing.

I don’t see any red on their combs yet.

Just sold 2. They were either both female or one female and a late blooming male. Forgot to take pics. Both my sons were in the hospital because they both got bruises on their left knees. In the same week. Truth is stronger than fiction.

The 7 year old got his bruise from running into a wall at taekwondo. The baby’s small bruise is probably due to my active 7 yr old accidentally throwing a fidget toy at him but as a protocol for babies having bruises I was made to stay 2 nights at the hospital and this morning CPS (called DPJ in Quebec) is inspecting the house. All chicks are going to be staying in the shed. They were going to go there anyway after DH found out young children should not be near poultry. But we are going to move the litter box to the basement as well.

Anyway sorry to go off topic. The next time I hopefully remember to take a pic I’ll take a pic before I rehome the other 3 d’Uccles (there was 6, sold 2, keeping one). I think there’s one cockerel, the rest appear to be pullets.

Sorry, incredibly off topic: as your porcelain d'uncles mature, would you mind keeping us notified on behavior? My show bird just died so I bought two porcelain d'Uccles to replace him. I was curious if they were a good choice or not and was wondering if you would discover any good taming methods.
So I've only had my porcelain and Millie Fleurs' for coming up on 3 weeks (Friday 16th purchase date and Wednesday/Thursday 14th 15th hatch date) they have been THE BEST little babies since the second that we picked them up. HOWEVER, we spend a TON of time with them. So much time with them lol. I wouldn't want it any other way though. We have a camera on their brooder, I go home at lunch everyday to spend time with them, they've come to work with me and they've been on a couple of car rides. They were all marked and sold as sexed pullets and while it that's supposed to be 90% I do feel like they get slack when it comes to sexing chicks for places like TSC. ALL of them except for 1 has acted like a cockerel in one way or another since the very beginning and honestly the only one I questioned until yesterday was the one that was acting like a pullet. So being so young we still don't know. If I HAD to guess right now I'd say 50/50 one of each color being male and the other being female. I know that's not at all what you asked so to answer that question, YES! They are hands down the sweetest most loving awesome chickens ever.
