Getting good pictures of these two chicks is like trying to capture a lightning strike in slow motion; possible, but not with my equipment (cellphone), lol.

I got these two in a SR batch of assorted bantams at TSC. They are currently 9 weeks old. I know one is a male, that's been obvious since he was about 2.5 weeks old.

I'm trying to narrow down the specific breed so I can list them to sell. I think I have it narrowed down to one of these 3; Crele Old English Bantam, Blue Breasted Red Old English Bantam or Black Breasted Old English Bantam. I aware that it's possible they are two different breeds.

For the male I'm leaning Black Breasted Old English Bantam, but the female has me stumped.

I think these are Phoenix bantams. The male is golden duckwing, the female black breasted red. They have the long, slim bodies of that breed, and they also have slate legs rather than the white legs of old English game bantams.

I didn't see those listed on Hoover's hatchery website. They sound interesting, do you have link for those breeds?

I checked, and they don't have bantam Phoenix listed. They do have large fowl Phoenix listed. To me they just don't look like OEGBs. But who knows? If they are OEGBS then it is the same colors I put for the Phoenix, gold duckwing for the male and black breasted red for the female.

I guess with the shortages this year TSC company could've gotten chicks from other suppliers. I'll wait a bit longer to find out, thanks.
