I do not have an incubator, and even if I did, I have NO IDEA what I would be doing.
If I tried, I KNOW I would end up killing all the babies one way or another...

But..........
IF I got more BCM eggs, would you be able to hatch them out for me?
I would be willing to split 50/50 any hatchlings with you!
I don't know what else to do!

LOL! Dont be scared, I was talking to Terrisa in email this morning, she said she had placed her two BCMs...

I'd have to think some on your offer, as wonderful as it sounds! It really is too generous for just sticking
some eggs in the incubator.

You might be better off buying some already hatched chicks locally? In other words
I would put some eggs in the bator for you and you just buy as many as you want out of that hatch. That would do a couple
of things, it would give you live chicks, and then we wouldn't be dealing with you having to purchase eggs and have them
shipped that might not hatch, or may not be viable. You aren't out anything until you see the live chicks...make sense?

Deb and I are kind of tag-teaming the BCMarans effort in the state, aren't we, Deb?

It's true... Deb gifted me with a dozen eggs, and there are 9 ready to go into the hatcher soon. I did the final candle last night. ALL of the eggs started to develop, but three had blood rings and stopped at about 10 days. But the other 9 are wiggling up a storm! And now I have eggs from Patty (Onthespot) in there too, and

that we get enough chicks from these hatches to make a really nice flock for next season. So don't worry... there are Marans in the state... it will happen!! If I remember correctly, Patty, there is the possibility for blue/black/splash from these?

Anyhow.
I have a friend who has a sister in Montana who has a large flock of Marans that she has apparently spent a while building.
She agreed to sell me 30 eggs at $2 each. Just because I am friends with her sister.
I don't know much about them, but they are supposed to be from some "Jean" line, and another famous one.
She said that Jessica has won ribbons for her eggs at the fair also.
So I don't know. I'm excited nevertheless.

MissDeb, as I mentioned before, for incubating them for me, You can take as many as you want, your pick.
Tori, you will be welcome to have some as well!
