A docile lovely chicken needs a forever home.

Hello,
We have had chickens for a very long time. Recently, I had to put one of our precious hens down. It was a sad day in our family. Our family has outgrown our chickens and we are looking for a forever home for our one remaining sweet docile chicken. She is a love, but so lonely with out her best friend. I live in the San Diego area and would be interested in placing her in a loving coop. She is use to a large area to roam and we spoil her with meal worms.
I am not the most techie person, so I would love to speak to you in person if that is possible?
We call her Dove, please let me know if you would love to add to your flock.

Welcome to BackYard Chickens! Sorry that you're getting out of them. Perhaps you could find her a new friend and keep her? If not, maybe you can do as @swampfox440 suggested and do your local newspaper, or Craigslist.
