I live on the border of RI/MA and I looked on craigs list and found a person less than a 10 min drive from me with over 100 baby chicks for sale.

I dont think there is a TSC near me, I know of one place that sells chicks and there is a limit you have to buy "12" (I cant have 12)

I bought 4 from the man on craigs list, and I am in the middle of gathering the things I need to build my own incubator... "hooked already" lol

I was hoping for EE's and I have been pretty sure the larger white was a roo... they are 3 weeks old today, as far as I was told they were 1 week old when I bought them. (although i've seen pics of alot of 3 week old chicks, and they look bigger and more feathered out than mine are.

Oh, and they all just lay still when I pick them up and turn them belly up, but that large white one is the leader of the group. if I introduce anything they have never seen before, none of them will go near it unless the larger white does it first and doesn't run away. all of them follow his lead in EVERYTHING, even eating and drinking. lol
