A few new Orpingtons

Glad your mended from the proch incident. Neck injury is no picnic . I work at the hospital , we have handed out so many crutchs this year with so much snow and ice Xrax is over worked. . I dont blame you for not wanting to get hurt again. Not a good time.

It happens so fast with the babies. It can happen to anyone..Our rooster let himself out from his heated pen that runs about 55 degrees all winter Thank God I was here cause I saw him out the window crouched in the corner of his outside pen with high winds and way below zero temps blowing over him, I just saw a black bump in the drifting snow , thought OH NO! not quite sure how long he was out there, ran out and grabbed him and put him right back in but he suffered some frost bite..Not nice. Now he just peeks out the door but stands in his knee deep sawdust and heaters. We are SO ready for spring, been a brutal one this year up here in all of New England

Will keep in touch when things slow down for me in about mid march , have the money all ready just not the time. LOL. My husband has been a real pro with the incubator for me. everything is as it should be and Im writing this from a break at work. I am going to part time march 15th so should have a lot more time for ME! and my chicken nirvana...

I LOVE to show chcikens and Im upgrading , and improving some australorps and really want to get more into the orpingtons. Just Love them
