A few of my black australorps have lacing....

Is this normal? The ones I'm speaking of are hens...so BAs have lacing, EVER?? Please help! I'll try to get pics in the near future...just thought I would ask tho...
 
No, Australorps don't have lacing. Could they be Wyandottes?

I know what youre talking about, I think. i have aussies too, hatchery stock. and they were not solid black for the longest time. They are 4mo old now, and that little bit of white "lacing" is nearly gone now that they are getting their grown up feathering in. They molted when it got real hot, and the feathers that had white on the tips fell out and grew back in solid black.
