I let out one of my coops for the first time in a while. I had added some new birds to it and wanted them to get established before I let them free range. It was a gorgeous (although hot!) day yesterday, so I snapped a few pics.
This is Shadow, my oldest bird. She is a Jersey Giant hen who is now eleven years old!
Some bantam cochin hens I picked up from auction. They went super cheap because the auctioneer kept selling them as two pairs, when it was one cockeral and three pullets.
A silver laced cochin/silkie mix pullet. I have two of these I got from a lady. It's amazing how different they each look!
My young LF faverolle cockeral. He's going through his teen stage!
One of four ameraucana hens.
The other silver laced cochin/silkie mix.
My sebastopol mix goose enjoying the water!
My golden birchen cochin cockeral who is going to be a BIG boy!
My maran pullet.
