A few questions about cockerels/ roosters

Hi.
I just got 2 new cockerels for my silkie breeding group. They were raised together so they are really close. They spent one day in the mail and arrived the day after ordered. Quarantine week 2 just ended and I have 2 questions.
1: Do they quit crowing for awhile when in a new home?
2: How long should it take until the hens and the cockerels consider each other a flock?

Silkie roosters are the masters of non stop, extremely loud (shrill) crowing. They might be quiet now but pretty soon they'll be crowing every hour of every day .

For the other question: The hens might beat them up a few times in the coming weeks. Roosters kind of have to 'prove' themselves to the hens before they'll let them mate/etc. It might take a bit but as long as they're not seriously hurting each other they should get used to them.

Awesome! I am really excited for when they crow!
The younger cockerel seems to peck the hens more than they peck him. I think he just wants to keep his place.
