That's what I'm afraid of . . . as long as it's tolerable I'll keep both, until it isn't, or neighbors start complaining.When I have had cockerels reach crowing age, usually the dominant one starts crowing and then the submissive does eventually - it may be a few weeks or months later. Once I had one cockerel crowing for a few weeks, and the very next day after rehoming him, the other one took over on crowing duty![]()
I don't expect the latter to happen unless it gets out of hand. The neighbor behind me has a pig, for crying out loud, so I think I'm in good company.
