So I just built a new coop to consolidate my birds. It is 12x10 and will be housing 30 birds 29 hens/pullets and 2 cockerels. With my old setup I was feeding outside. I plan on putting an auto door on the new coop, and winter is coming, so I decided I want to start feeding in the coop. I was wondering, how many feed statons do you think will be necessary for 30 birds? Which feeders do you use iniside your coop? For how many birds?

I have been thinking about this one, but think the feeding area will be too small : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F1ZTDV4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A36STBE1TJHB9T&psc=1

Or maybe one or two of these? https://www.hogslat.com/blue-hangin... | 35 lb Blue Hanging Chicken Feeder | $19.95

My goal is to have MINIMAL waste and the option to fill the feeder and be gone for a couple days. I would prefer to have one but will get two if you think it is necessary. I would really appreciate some guidance!

I would go with the two 35 lb. You know those range feeders have a small cover around the food holes that keeps rain out there is an added bonus it also keeps out dung and you can move them inside or out . You might consider a range feeder
Thanks for the input. Do you have a link to the type you mean?

Go to Stromberg's chicks and look up Range Feeders sorry I don't knowhow to link PH152 is a 50 lb. plastic and Murry Mc -Murry might have some also.
Those are really nice. I think for feeding inside though I would rather get two feeders or even three for the same price and have multiple feeding stations. Really appreciate the suggestion!
