A few rabbit questions

Our chickens moved out of the coop and lived and free ranged and seemed to be happy(we are in the Philippines so the winter shouldn't bother them). The empty coop keeps saying "fill me" so I decided to keep rabbits, but I have some newbie questions

Can rabbits use stairs? Not exactly stairs but it's a long wood with ridges. They might need the nestbox during breeding time but the nextboxes are upstairs. Can they use these?

Are they allowed to eat types of vegetables namely kale, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, and broccoli I read somewhere in the web that they might get a certain disease(starting with the letter "T") and possibly die.

Any tips and opinions on raising rabbits?

Rabbits are quite hardy they should be okay with the ramp but if its quite high from the ground i'd put sides on and if your housing males and females together which it sounds like from your post you'll be over run with rabbits as they can breed from as early as 12 weeks and it only takes a month for the babies to be born and then it happens all over again which would most likely shorten the females life being pregnant again and again.

If you are planning on breeding you should house the rabbits in something like this

They can eat veggies but lettuce isn't recommended as they can get diarrhoea from eating it

I think looking more around online is the best thing you can do

oh good you picked rabbits. join the homesteadingtoday.com forum and go to the raising rabbits for profits section. there are alot of knowledgeable people there that can help you out alot. they also have a list of stuff that rabbits can and can't eat. there has also been quite a bit of talk about colonies lately.
