A friends ducks keep dying

We're completely baffled by this. There doesnt appear to be any symptoms. They simply become weak and die within hours. She can't find an issue with feed or anything else the ducks could eat. And it's been both male and female ducks.
 
These are adults that She's had for over a year. This started occurring within the last month I guess. But shes lost 5 of her ducks now and is frantic.
 
It doesnt seem like botulism moves as quickly as whatever is affecting her ducks. I'll let her know though. Maybe she'll know/remember some specifics related to it. Thank you

Hey it's still more than what we had to go on. And maybe with high enough levels of contamination it does act that fast. I'd assume she'd take them to the vet if she had more time. I don't know the entire situation, I'm just trying to help her find causes.
 
I wish I knew more about diseases. Do you know if the ducks free range? The only thing I can think of is that they're getting into something poisonous. That's almost what it sounds like anyway.
