A full week of egg a day each :)

The ducks have been laying since the spring....fairly well. 8-9 per day from 11. Since I switched from Blue Seal feed to TSC Dumor brand, I swear they are laying better. I have gotten an egg a day from each girl all week. I have 7 Khaki Campbells, 3 Pekins, and 1 Mallard. I figured the Mallard was done for the season two months ago, but she started up again this week. The most pretty green egg too.

So glad that I finally have regular duck egg buyers.

and do you feed yours the pellet or the crumble?

I do have the light on....13 hours....mostly for the chickens, but the light shines on the duck side too.

I just switched to pellets from crumbles. The ducks were wasting so much, which the chickens didn't mind since they clean up what's on the floor. I worried they wouldn't eat the pellets since they've been raised on crumbles, but it's food and they eat it just fine.
