Hey yall! Just thought I’d share the tiny egg I got the other day. I have a Khaki Campbell and a Pekin duck and their eggs usually are about the size of the one on the left. Thought this was interesting but I also want to know if I should be concerned!

Also Happy Easter everybody!

Happy Easter! :jumpy

That’s a fairy egg. They’re most common in new layers, but it can occasionally occur in older ducks, too. It’s of little concern.

Fairy egg, yeah...

I have found one in one of my ducks' coops, not long ago...
I wanted to boil it, but threw it instead because it just floated in the water...!

Do your Khaki Campbell and your Pekin ducks lay eggs of the same size?
(How much do they weight?)

It will not have a yolk. My son's Pekins gave him a couple of these early in the spring when they just started laying again

Happy Easter!
