A good rooster - good grief

Well I thought you said you checked for fertility and saw bullseyes.

Well then you've lost those potential chicks, haven't you?

I have 2 roosters and 21 hens. Almost every egg we eat is fertile.

I incubate only the very best eggs and only as many as are appropriate for my goals.

I always check when I am cooking. @ Dories-surely you don't incubate every fertilized egg that you get?

Do you not eat quail eggs? What do you do with all your birds?
