So reading some of the hatchling story's it got me thinking. My friend whom I got 5 of my 6 girls from has an interesting hen. She had to show me what this hen does, she has done it a few times from what I understood. Apparently this has become a norm for this girl. She just the right size to fit into the water heater box and actually incubates her eggs under the water heater. When I saw it I would say there was easily 20 eggs, she moves them around but stays hidden in the back corner where no one can get to her.
It was really pretty impressive how much thought and work this crazy hen put into all of it. But infact she does little more then eat the bugs around the water heater and check the egg occasionally. I wish I would have taken a picture
