You do not get guarantees with living animals. You never know what any individual will do. I have never had a rooster threaten a baby chick with a broody hen. Some people say they have but I never have. Most of my roosters ignore baby chicks with a broody. I have had a few help Mama with her chicks when she needed help. I'm a lot more concerned with the other hens than I am with the rooster. My broody hens can usually handle other hens.
