My son efficiently collected eggs today, including ones that were under a broody pullet (by accident) They were brought into my cool 62°F house for about an hour. I put them back in the nesting box. Will they continue developing, or was I too late?
Back story: I was away on vacation, and when I returned, found Miss broody on 11 eggs. My son was intimidated by her and did not collect the eggs. She had already sat on the for 3-4 days, and I did candle them and found progress. I pencil marked them. She tries everyday to steal more eggs and add them to her clutch. Over achiever. She is just under 8 mo. old.
