Hello!!!

We have had hens for 4 years now. Currently we have 5 hens that are 3 yrs old and 6 chicks that should start laying in a month or 2.
About 2 months ago Roxanne, a Rhode Island Red had a hit put out on her. We removed her for 2 weeks and let the back of her head heal and then tried reintroducing her to the flock. Immediately they all started trying to kill her again. Through trial and error we discovered that Sweetie, a Barred Rock, is the instigator and if she is removed the others leave Roxanne alone.
Roxanne also quit laying around 3-4 months ago. She shows no sign of sickness. Any Ideas as to why this is happening?
We feed layer crumbles at 16% and supplement with scratch. They also get lots of veggies and snacks like meal worms, shrimp, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Flock animals will often drive a weak or diseased member out of the flock.

How many birds total? What are the exact dimensions of coop and run?

I'm assuming this aggression started after you put the pullets into the flock? They could be reacting to crowding stress. Do you have multiple height, out of sight but not dead end areas in both coop and run? Do you have multiple feeding stations?

This is our coop and run. We have 11 birds total. 2 are currently separated (Roxanne and Rainbow) these two are friends. Total dimensions are 16' X 14'
Coop is inside run and it is 7' X 6'. Lots of places to roost, one feeding station, 2 waterers.
