A little bit of dog food?

We have some dry dog food that we don't want to feed to the pups anymore. It doesn't agree with our younger pups tummy. Can I use it up by giving a little bit of it to the chickens over a week or so's time?
Most of the pieces are thumbnail-sized and I'm not really worried about them choking on it, considering I've seen every one of my chickens swallow whole figs.

yup! Mine love the left over dog food...
its a great way for them to get protein.
I always soak mine first though... but i'm sure that you dont have to do that.. like you said..they can swallow some big things...
