Good morning y'all, little help here please.

We bought these two as day-old Black Australorps. Fast forward about 11 weeks and they are most definitely NOT Black Australorps. They were supposed to also be vent sexed pullets, but I'm pretty sure one is a cockerel.

We are thinking maybe BCM/Barnevelder mix on the pullet and BCM/RIR mix on thr cockerel?

Let me know your thoughts! Thank you!

Yup that second one is 1000% boy. First one is a pullet :)

He's one of Sarah's favorites and the first of the 9 chicks that got a name, Copper. We have a BCM named Harper that is by-and-far her favorite, but he is a distant second. We will probably get rid of the larger cockerel we have that is already coo-ing and keep Copper. Good looking bird tho :thumbsup

For sure he will be a stunner! Sounds like he has a good temperament too :)
The hen is also a cutie. Good luck with them both :ya

They are mixed breeds probably with RIR in all of them. In addition to the black cockerel, the red bird with the large comb and wattles is also a cockerel, in case you didn't know already.

They are handsome birds.
