A little help please... Definitely not as advertised

They are mixed breeds probably with RIR in all of them. In addition to the black cockerel, the red bird with the large comb and wattles is also a cockerel, in case you didn't know already.

They are handsome birds.

Yessir, thank you. So far out of the 9 "vent sexed" chicks that were supposed to be guaranteed pullets, we have 4 cockerels. Lovely.

Oofta, that's a bummer. Will they exchange for pullets or do they have any kind of guarantee?

Eh, I doubt it, and tbh, I haven't looked/reached out to the guy to see what he would do. We figure we would just sell/give away the cockerels we don't keep and Sarah wants to get 6-12 hatching eggs this spring and let one of the hens raise them. Since they're mainly pets to her, she's not all that upset and we give away all our extra eggs anyways
