The local farm store couldn't tell us too much when we picked them, I just wanted hens and they assured me they were, but now I wonder what kind are these?

Tan-ish Brown, 5 toes, feathered feet and looking very haggard. My husband pointed out that puberty is pretty rough on chickens

I believe they are Salmon Favorolle pullets. The boys and girls feather out different colors. Lucky! I love favorolles

thanks for the suggestions, we will just have to keep an eye on them and see how they turn out. They are such a pretty color
 
We decided to try to call and get the manager of the farm store since the floor-level employees couldn't tell us anything, the manager had a book of what breeds they had on what dates and based on my chicks features and color they are indeed Salmon Faverolles [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]thanks! you guys are spot on![/FONT]
