Hello, this is my first post. Could you help me ID gender/breed? Background: I purchased five (5) chicks in early June from a local rural feed store (not TSC). They get their chicks from Hoover's Hatchery in Iowa. I ordered a Silver-Laced Wyandotte, a Speckled Sussex, an Americana (Araucana x Ameraucana?), an Easter Egger, and an Olive Egger to start our flock. With a 90% sex rate, I hoped we would end up with four hens. The flock will be 18 weeks old this Wednesday on Oct 12. No eggs yet (will we even get eggs this winter with declining daylight, or just expect them in spring?). We had chickens 40 years ago, but just boring brown hens, so these breeds are somewhat new to me. I am not entirely convinced we received what we ordered (which is fine), but would appreciate any guidance on what chicken is what breed and if anyone sees any cockerels in the lot. Specimens A-C are pretty friendly, but either D or E surprised me with a hard peck on the arm when I was closing up the coop the other night. Critter E likes to make some noise although it doesn't sound like a proper rooster by any means. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks so much, all. Easter Eggers they are then!
And they all look like pullets?
Should we expect eggs in the next month or two, or will declining daylight hours shut things down until spring? No supplemental lighting at present.
Would love an update! Did your ladies start laying eggs?

Yes! The first egg arrived on January 12, with a second following five days later. All five were laying by the end of January, although it took them a few weeks for them to learn what nest boxes are for. Rookies.

Incidentally, today was the first day with five eggs.
