I found this among my bantam eggs yesterday. Its a perfect, tiny egg!

The below picture is a regular, large chicken egg next to a regular bantam egg, next to the littlest egg I've ever seen!

This is the little banty egg next to a quarter....

Do you think I could incubate this egg? If it is fertile and hatches I imagine the chick would be very tiny too. What do you think my chances are of trying this?

Oh, very cute! My grandma calls tiny chicken eggs 'wind eggs', while I learned that sometimes they are called 'rooster eggs.' I don't know why some call them rooster eggs.... since they don't come from roosters! They are just little blips in a hen's reproductive system.

Instead of trying to hatch it, why don't you blow the contents out, and keep the shell? I have my doubts that such a tiny egg would be fertile, and even if an embryo started growing, I don't think it would survive to the hatch date, so I don't recommend trying to incubate it....

OK, I'll guess I won't try to hatch it. I was hoping I had a chromosome abnormally and I'd be able to produce miniatures
