1/2" on their perch. Tomorrow, it gets upgraded to 3/4".
They have been outside twice. First time about 1/2 hour. This day they spent about an hour while I cleaned out the brooder. It really is fun to see them get to 'fly' for a couple of feet. Then when they land, everyone thinks some exciting is happening and they all come running to see what is happening. Weather has been warm on both days in the high 70s and mid 80s.
