A little pricing help...? Update Post 12 $300?? EEEKK

i'd start with how much it cost you to buy the supplies. if everything was free or almost free, than maybe $100. that would be my guess. or you could always say make an offer and see what you get for it. good luck

What are the dimentions on it? It sure doesn't look big engough for 20 chooks like the ad says. They want it gone quick so you may be able to make a good deal if you have the muscle and vehicle to transport it.

We have the muscle and the vehicle... No, it doesn't look big enough for 20 to me either. I as going to ask about measurements as well. He also has feeders, waterers, 10 chickens, incubators.... Ect. I was thinking of offering $100, but I didn't want to insult him.... I hate when things say MAKE OFFER.

If it comes with all that and everything is in good shape $100 might be a little low. It's hard to say though. We've recently made a bunch of people very happy because we have an abandoned storage box (a big 40yard like they use for garbage) here that had a bunch of engines in it. DH as been selling them for $50-$100 just to get them out of here even though they are worth 2-4x that--You can always start at 100-120 and then dicker with him.

Well, I just sent him an email saying a little about myself and letting him know that I was really interested. Asked what he would take for all of it, or just the coop...

I'd say for ALL of it I'd $200 would be about right depending on age/health of the birds. The coop alone...not more than $100. Plywood is dirt cheap right now.
