Lots more droppings. They are eating to grow, much like the cornish crosses. Mine are being raised on wire after brooding on pine shavings. I use the sweet pdz on the poop, but also for their dust bathing. I fix a small feed bowl for each pen with equal parts sand, sweet pdz and de. The literally descend on the bowl and fill it with quivering/shuffling quail. They LOVE their dust bowls!
