A&M quail problems!!

I just started with them they are about 3 months old they started off plump healthy now they look like there starving and dying ive tried wormer and antibiotic and extra meal worm for protein what am I doing wrong

Mine are doing good outside, and we have had zero days. They are fat and happy on an all grain crumble diet with a little alfalfa for nesting and graze. I did find my two bloodlines hate each other and I have them in separate pens. I'll have to address this again in the spring.

Were these birds raised together? Or were 2+ groups merged into one? Someone asked if the Golden Italians would make for nice big bbq birds. These are all the same (Coturnix) quail just a different color. If you are going for bigger/jumbo birds then you would simply have to find some selectively bred quail for there size and color you want.

It was two clutches, from different genetic backgrounds. They were hatched about 3-4 weeks apart and raised together initially.
