Lol I wish . My parents are sticks in the mudd . They try and limit me , so they said no more incubator ! I still bring home live birds but my sportsman is kinda loud and its hard to hide from them . But I do try !!


Hell its only 18 days ! I'll just shut the automatic turner off donut doesn't beep and just press the button and turn them 3 times a day ..

Vent sexing is very easy. Hold the coturnix with its head between your middle and index finger so your other fingers are holding the wings. Then turn it over on its back. Right behind the vent, towards the tail, males will have a large swollen gland in breeding season. If you press on this gland a white foam will come out.

JJ's version of 'beer sexing' is the same as sitting and watching them, it just involves alcohol

I got sick of hearing mine - so I wrote customer service. This is what they had to say:

There isn’t any way to turn the speaker down, but you can disconnect it. If you unplug the incubator and remove the top you will see the round noise maker mounted near the thermostat. Just unplug it from the thermostat to turn it off and everything else will function normally.
