A Male Guinea with a Hen

I only have one Hen (peggy) right now and She is very lonley. I know someone that is getting rid of a Male Guinea and I thought it would bring some companionship to (peggy). So my question is.. Am I going to run into problems just having 1 male Guinea and 1 Hen? Will they fight and will the male try to mess with her? Any tips would be helpful
