a most terrible egg - ow! ow! ow!

When I read your post last week, I thought I might have a similar problem It was an EE that just resumed laying. The eggs are fine now. But it got me wondering... Do you know which bird it is? can you isolate her? maybe try and watch her lay and see what she goes through. I also pulled back on my BOSS use, something on that site suggested limiting it. Good luck and I hope this is resolved.

I have a Delaware who lays them, though she isn't a regular layer, she is the only one of four hens I bought together. When I find her she's going. The white of the eggs just doesn't fry right, so I only use them scrambled. She no use laying eggs this way as they don't fit in the carton of a "large" egg size they are too big.
